The Deep Water Soloing (or Psicobloc) is a form of climbing that is practiced on the cliffs, without ropes, without referrals, in short without ever being safe.
If the climber lacks grip and slips, falls into the sea, an element that represents the only protection but not for this must be considered dangerous if done with the right precautions and possibly accompanied by experienced people who know well the rocks and seabed in to practice it.
Walls from slightly to overhanging, sufficiently deep water and heights ranging from 5 to 15/20 meters are the ideal terrain on which to practice it and the beautiful Sicilian cliffs are perfect both for those who approach the DWS for the first time and for the experienced climber which will find high-level and strongly adrenaline lines.
We recommend a minimum level of climbing, good water and be ready for a dip in the beautiful Sicilian sea!
